Drawing on a key prototype found in Koukaki, Athens, the key works were created in collaboration with Sinaida Michalskaja as an abjecthood residue of the shared rave experiences.
Wrong hole (using ketamine femmunism to foster derealisation)
2021
The initial work in the Master Key collaboration. The key cut-out, overlaid with a horse image from Lars von Trier’s Melancholia, establishes a critical interplay between the literal keyhole of a lock and the "k-hole," or dissociative state. This ambiguity acts as a material celebration of McKenzie Wark’s concept of ketamine femmunism.
The work was produced for Von der schenkenden Tugend, curated by Shahin Zarinbal, Zarinbal Khoshbakht, Cologne, Germany
